Saratoga County District Attorney Karen Heggen was our speaker on Thursday. A lifelong Malta resident, she has worked 29 years in the district attorney's office, the last eight at its head.
She talked about recent changes to state bail and discovery laws, and some of the higher-profile cases her office has dealt with in recent years.
In other business, club members will meet at eight o'clock tomorrow (Saturday) morning at Forest Cleaners for our Dunning Street spring cleanup.
