Here's Emily Hale, a music educator and performer who was our speaker on Thursday. Emily is also the daughter of Malta Sunrise Rotarian the Rev. Jim Hale. She often performs on a reconstructed baroque-era violin, which (among other differences) has strings made from animal gut instead of metal. Emily concluded by playing a lovely gavotte written by the French baroque composer Jean-Philippe Rameau.
