A week ago today, we held a successful pancake breakfast fund-raiser with the Malta Ridge Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary at the fire house.
Then on Wednesday and Thursday, we held our regular board and business meetings. Among the decisions made, was designating our second-quarter "happy dollars" collections to a relief fund for Puerto Rico following last year's storms, through Rotary International. We also pledged $100 to ongoing efforts to preserve the former Boyhaven Boy Scout camp in Milton, and convert it into a public park.
