Pancakes and Politics

Tom Disinger has stepped up on short notice to run our pancake breakfast, coming up this Sunday Oct. 15 at the Malta Ridge Fire House which is located between Route 9 and Hearn Road, south of Northway Exit 13. Club members willing to help and not yet signed up should contact Tom.

The 8-11:30 a.m. breakfast includes sausage, scrambled eggs, coffee and orange juice, in addition to pancakes. It costs $6 for adults, $3 for children aged 6 to 12, and is free for younger children.

The breakfast will benefit both the Malta Sunrise Rotary Club and Leatherstocking Honor Flight, which has taken more than 1,000 local veterans to visit the World War II memorial in Washington DC.

At this morning's meeting, our speaker was state Assemblywoman Carrie Woerner, shown below with fellow Rotarians (left to right) former Malta Supervisor Paul Sausville, Town Attorney Tom Peterson, and club President Bob Conner.
