Person of Action and Picking Up Trash

Rotary District 7190 Governor Fred Daniels, left, and Malta Sunrise Rotary President Bob Conner present Miles Cornthwaite, center, with a Person of Action award at this morning's meeting. Miles, a founding member of our club, has been heavily involved in recent fund-raisers and a bench-installation project, serves on the scholarship and membership committees, and will be a member of the new nominating committee. He even gave blood at a Rotary-sponsored Red Cross event (see photo in Oct. 2 post below).
Coming up this Saturday morning, Oct. 21, we'll be doing trash pick-up on Dunning Street. Meet at 8:30 at Forest Cleaners.
