Here's John (Jake) DeVito, of Ballston Spa High School, Class of 2016, being awarded Malta Sunrise Rotary's $1,000 scholarship by club President Mike Williams. The award is for a graduating senior residing in the Town of Malta (which includes the Village of Round Lake).
Jake is president of the Class of 2016, served as captain of both the varsity golf and baseball teams this year, and taught in St. Mary's Church religious education program. The son of John and Amy DeVito of Malta, he plans to attend St. Lawrence University in the fall, majoring in business and political science.
